Custom Quilting
Custom quilting is a technique that highlights an intricate quilt top through customized quilting on each quilt block or pieced shape of the quilt. The quilting pattern can be designed to quilt around the pieces of the quilt top, and must be manually guided by machine. Standard turnaround time for custom quilting is 3 to 6 months, and the finished quilt is one-of-a-kind.
Edge-to-Edge Quilting
Edge-to-edge quilting involves a single quilting design over the entire quilt top. This technique is also referred to as all-over quilting. The primary difference between edge-to-edge quilting and custom quilting is edge-to-edge repeats the same pattern over the entire quilt. Edge-to-edge quilting is a more affordable option than custom quilting, yet can still be quite intricate, and feature a unique pattern of your choosing.
